Terms of Use

Effective Date: 30 May 2025
Last Updated: 27 March 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TaskDivide platform (“TaskDivide”, “the Website”, “the Service”). By accessing or using TaskDivide, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Changes to These Terms

TaskDivide may amend or update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

When using TaskDivide, you agree that you will:

  • Use the Service only for lawful and authorised purposes.
  • Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security, integrity, or performance of the Service.
  • Not copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use content from the Service without appropriate permission.

3. User Accounts

If you are provided with an account to access TaskDivide, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up‑to‑date information.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Notify the administrator immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected breach.

TaskDivide may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached or where required for security or operational reasons.

4. Ownership of Content

All content, materials, design elements, and functionality available through TaskDivide are owned by TaskDivide, its licensors, or its contributing organisations. No rights are granted to you except as expressly permitted under these Terms.

5. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaskDivide, its administrators, and associated organisations from any loss, liability, claim, or expense arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

TaskDivide is provided on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskDivide disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied. TaskDivide is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, including loss of data or service availability. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid (if any) for access to the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of TaskDivide is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, stored, and used.

8. Termination of Access

TaskDivide may suspend or terminate access at any time where required for security, operational needs, or due to breach of these Terms.

9. Document Uploads and Storage

By uploading documents or files to TaskDivide (including receipts, invoices, and supporting materials), you acknowledge that such files may be stored in cloud‑based storage environments such as Microsoft Azure. While direct links to uploaded files are not indexed by search engines and are not intentionally shared, access may be technically possible for individuals who possess the direct file URL.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded documents do not contain sensitive personal information unless required for operational purposes and protected by appropriate safeguards. TaskDivide is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from the inherent nature of public or semi‑public cloud storage configurations.

Retention and Removal

Uploaded documents are retained for operational and record‑keeping purposes. You may request removal of a document by contacting the site administrator or designated Privacy Officer.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
